Weight management through our holistic nutrition program and personalized resistance training is the best 1-2 combination to help you attain your ideal body composition... and keep it! We get great results for males and females alike, but this program is especially effective for females of all ages who are tired of dieting and frustrated with their weight. Sometimes males can "get away with" an okay diet and lose weight more easily with strength training. Whereas females tend to need a very sound nutritional strategy with just the right lifting to produce results. Thus, the majority of our very successful clientele are females between 35 and 60, but we can help anyone and everyone. We count very successful as having lost 25 to 40 pounds of excess body fat without "dieting" or doing hours of boring cardio.

Holistic nutrition is getting back to basics; it's getting back to the way the body works best. Our program is personalized to your current needs, lifestyle and limitation such as health problems. You will be educated on the physiology behind what poor foods choices do to the body and what healthy choices can result in. Truly learning the science behind how your body works helps make fundamental changes on who you think about food. Simply using will power to stop bad habits will not work, certainly not long term.

Your program designer, Jason, has spent years studying the effects of chronic nutrient deficiencies, anthropology and genetics. These scientific fields provide a vast array of evidence as to what is ideal for us to consume and what should be minimized. The data show just how damaging and disease causing a “modern” diet can be (even foods you may think are healthy) and how easily this leads to weight gain and degenerative disease. Rather than fighting your genes you will learn to work with them. Your results will be nothing less than amazing once you nourish your body with the right fuels. When you respect your body it will return the favor – you will not just drop body fat, you will also feel GREAT, improve digestion, reduce any chronic health problems and reduce your risk of future health problems, as well as reduce joint pain and general dysfunction.

We do work with vegetarians as well.  Although a strict vegan diet is known to produce deficiencies in the body, rest assured that animal products do not necessarily have to dominate your diet.

Resistance training is simply the quickest and most effective way to permanently lose bodyfat and build the muscle necessary to keep it off. Even with a great nutrition plan, as you lose pounds you will likely be losing muscle if you are not using resistance exercise. Muscle loss simply equals eventual bodyfat gain. Pilates, yoga and light dumbbell work or ankle weights do not count as real lifting… the weights must be moderately heavy to build lean muscle, lose bodyfat and prevent osteoporosis. It’s been known for ages that the people with the most muscle usually have the leanest physique. By the way, it’s nearly impossible for females to gain huge amounts of muscle, so you will not turn into a body builder from lifting weights. You will look like a woman who is in shape. The more muscle you have the higher your resting metabolism.

IQF provides a 25-point evaluation to assess your body before designing your program from scratch. Your body is unique so your program will always be set-up for you and only you… we do not use one-size-fits-all routines like many trainers are known to do.
